Rotates every page or only the ones you list, by 90° or 180°. The rotation adds to the current one and the file never leaves your computer.

How to use this calculator

Fix pages scanned sideways or upside down so they read well on screen and in print. You can rotate the whole document or only some pages, such as the landscape drawings in a report.

Worked example

  1. Choose the PDF.
  2. Leave the pages field empty to rotate them all, or type which ones, for example 2, 5-6.
  3. Choose the rotation, press Rotate PDF and download the result.

Interpreting the result

The rotation adds to the orientation each page already had: if a page was already turned 90° and you apply another 90°, it ends up at 180°. Content is not recompressed; only the orientation stored in the PDF changes.

Frequently asked questions

Which rotation do I choose if the page is upside down?

180°. If it is sideways, try 90° clockwise; if it ends up the wrong way, apply 180° to the result.

Can I rotate just one page?

Yes. Type its number in the pages field, for example 3.

Does the rotation show in every reader?

Yes. It is saved as the standard page orientation, which every PDF reader respects.
