Creates a new PDF with only the pages you list, for example 1-3, 5. The original is unchanged and nothing is uploaded to any server.

How to use this calculator

Take only the pages you need from a long PDF: a chapter, the signed page of a contract or one month of invoices. Type single pages separated by commas and ranges with a hyphen; an open range such as 8- runs to the end.

Worked example

  1. Choose the PDF; you will see how many pages it has.
  2. Type the pages, for example 1-3, 5, 8-.
  3. Press Extract pages and download the new PDF.

Interpreting the result

The new PDF contains the pages in the order you typed them, so it also works for reordering. If you need several separate parts, repeat the extraction for each range: the original is not changed.

Frequently asked questions

How do I split a PDF into two halves?

Extract, for example, 1-10 first and then 11-. You will get two files, one for each half.

Can I repeat a page?

Yes. If you type 1, 1, 2 the first page appears twice in the result.

Is quality lost when extracting?

No. Pages are copied as they are, with their original text, images and size.
